Personal reflection time – It’s been one heck of a year full of highest highs, and lowest lows. Almost exactly a year ago I was saying goodbye to loved ones, to friends who became as near to a family as I had in NZ, was leaving my business, and packing my bags for what I thought was the last time. Never could I have dreamed that I would actually be back. I’ve always tried to believe everything happens for a reason, even when it’s hard to see what that reason is. The places we end up, the people we meet, the relationships that are forged and lost, and I continue to try and hold onto this. To believe I’m where I am meant to be. I miss my family, as do my children and we love them dearly. But I also feel very blessed to call NZ my home once again. We are just so lucky the world keeps getting smaller, bringing everyone afar that much closer to home. Who knows what the future holds, but I’m looking forward to finding out.
